La primera vez que conocí a alguien peligroso fue cuando tenía 13 años. Un chavo de Veracruz se mudó a la cuadra. No recuerdo su nombre, pero recuerdo que solía andar por la calle sin camisa: tenía tatuajes en los brazos y una cicatriz en la espalda.
"Me dieron un plomazo", me dijo cuando le pregunté.
Era la primera vez que escuchaba la palabra "plomazo".

I cried lots of times during puberty. I was always a lonely kid, even when I had a family of five. I used to roam the streets on my own. My parents rarely knew were I was or what I was doing, but they never asked, either. It worked for me.
